Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. Her studies in theatre were through Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career in Chicago-area theatres for a few years. After that, she switched to TV and film. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's, she was given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood and was filming between 2000 and 2001. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral part of her acting career. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast set in 2022. The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The decline of their relationship is akin to Walter White's final days.
